Wondering what growth can look like at PACTICS? Sarorn’s journey is a great example. After studying Tourism and Hospitality and working as a Front Desk Agent, she joined PACTICS eight years ago through a word-of-mouth recommendation. Since then, she’s steadily progressed from Communication Officer to Payroll Officer, then Senior Payroll Officer, and now leads as HR/Payroll Supervisor.

CAN YOU TELL US A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOUR JOB?
I’m currently working as an HR/Payroll Supervisor. My responsibilities include developing and implementing HR policies and tools, ensuring payroll accuracy and compliance with relevant laws, and supervising both the HR Admin and Assistant Payroll teams. I also support recruitment based on business needs.
WHAT DO YOU ENJOY MOST ABOUT YOUR JOB?
I really enjoy supervising the HR and payroll teams. I like guiding them, helping them grow, and seeing our teamwork make a positive impact.
HOW HAVE YOU GROWN DURING YOUR TIME AT PACTICS?
I’ve grown step by step over the years. I started as a Communication Officer from 2017 to 2019, then became a Payroll Officer from 2020 to 2022. I was promoted to Senior Payroll Officer in 2023, and then to my current position as HR/Payroll Supervisor in 2025.
WHAT ARE SOME OF THE THINGS YOU’VE LEARNED THROUGH YOUR WORK?
I’ve learned how to control the payroll system (Kottra), understand labor law—including contracts, wage calculation, and other conditions—and support recruitment processes.
WHAT MAKES YOU PROUD TO WORK FOR THIS COMPANY?
I’m proud to work for a company that always aligns with the law and values health and safety, social responsibility, human rights, non-discrimination, and environmental care. I especially appreciate that PACTICS provides opportunities to many women in Siem Reap.
