job summary

As a Design and Printing Support is responsible for supporting operating and maintaining printing equipment to produce high-quality printed materials. They are ensured and prepare digital printing job with accurate setup and alignment with order planning of manufacturing. Inspect printed copies for defects, color accuracy, and fully support to printing operator job when it needed. And take a part for maintain records of transactions and inventory. Flexibility to collaborate with others and work independently when needed.

what you will be doing

  • Prepare and process custom prints based on client requirements and ensure efficiency and client satisfaction by understanding the client’s needs and preferences.
  • Create production printing jobs for printing operators based on order from plaining of manufacturing.
  • Run sublimated panels samples for PD team/ Sale Team/ and OF team when we have a request.
  • Work closely with the design printing lead or supervisor to make sure we get the right information before starting sample or production process in operation.
  • Prepare and make a note for pre-production setting in color match program.
  • Work closely with design team to request print files color setting or change setting print file alignment to program of color match that could make possible options to be a better-quality printing output needed.
  • Run pre-production test and support with color matching.
  • Inspection checklist working duties from printing operators to make sure they make the jobs follow the right instruction.
  • They conduct basic repairs to ensure uninterrupted printing operations.
  • Understand how to save cost during do nesting in program of printing (know how to save the cost by prepare print job to save paper/fabric/ink consumption).
  • Support with Printing machine maintenance and perform routine checks to keep the machines in optimal condition.
  • Understand sublimation job and heat press job because it is required to make the first time right of production running setting of printing job.
  • Daily communication and planning a follow-up with the printing team, multi-heat transfer team, and precision cutting team.
  • Providing recommendations or alternatives and addressing any complaints.
  • Another task will be assigned by the manager.

what we ask

  • A high school diploma level-up is required.
  • Experience in operating various digital printing machines and equipment is preferred.
  • Understanding the printing files requirement before going to print in the program.
  • An interested person demonstrated an understanding of computer programs.
  • A person who has a keen eye for color accuracy, and detail oriented on machine operation.
  • Willingness to learn color match software and good working knowledge of color thinking matching.
  • Experience with Adobe Illustrator (Ai) and Adobe Photoshop (Ps) or other designing programs is preferred.
  • Showing interest in working with machines (printer, multi-heat press transfer technique).
  • Able to speak basic English in the communication concept of working language.
  • Good communication and time management.
  • Able to communicate and follow up schedules and deadlines to prioritize for a job.
  • Self-motivated, happy to work independently, and interested in learning new things.
  • Is open-minded and creative way in their job duties, not afraid to get his/her hands dirty, a team player, and a fun colleague.
