This transition drives the need to enhance our existing Technical, Product Development, and Sourcing capabilities.  

job summary

As a Merchandiser, you will play an important role as a professional in our Product Development Department. You will be part of our in-house Product Development team making costing, sample follow up and lead time, and collaborate directly with customers and relevant internal departments to create the best customer experience while ensuring timely and effective delivery.

what you will be doing

Projects management:

  • Independently manage quotation requests and deliver the result within a set time frame.
  • Independently manage sample requests and deliver the result within a set time frame.
  • Work with Graphic Designer to prepare requested Tech Pack.

Information Management:

  • Provide correct information to Graphic Designer to make and update Tech Pack.
  • Manage the quotation and sample folder to keep the document clear and updated.

RM Management:

  • Manage the stock of Product. Development raw materials.
  • Assures acquisition of RM in time.

Sample Management:

  • Control sample quality.
  • Conduct lab testing & keep clear records of the test results.
  • Keep clear records of sample development, such as sample photos, sample information & sample storage.
  • Liaises closes with relevant departments to produce samples.

Logistic Management:

  • Ensures timely delivery of samples and keeps clear records.

Role:

  • Coordinate with Sourcing team to collect raw material information promptly.
  • Coordinate with Merchandiser and Junior. Merchandiser for a smooth quotation & BOM preparation.
  • Arrange materials to sample room.
  • Coordinate with Sample team to deliver correct samples promptly.
  • Keep projects on track and update PD Manager promptly.
  • Control sample quality and check with PD Manager when necessary.
  • Coordinate with PED team to prepare new product introduction meeting.
  • Print out documents & Check detail pass to production.
  • Arrange sample (Keeping – QA – Production – DPS).
  • Manage courier and packages.
  • Other tasks are assigned by Manager.

  • Good at Microsoft Office; Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Willingness to take responsibility and act accordingly.
  • Cultural sensitivity.
  • Willingness to be part of the team and make a continuous effort for improvement.
  • Knowledge of InDesign & Illustrator will be advantage.
