job summary

Screen-Printing Lead is responsible for making the whole floor of screen-printing products deliver the quality requirements of the product standard. She or he needs ownership of the screen-printing department and is accountable for ensuring department goals are met and customer needs are satisfied.

She or he needs control of the station to be well organized to follow manufacturing standard 5S, including health and safety. Directly supervise and coordinate the team members with a good understanding of being a leader.

what you will be doing

  • Support the manager to provide direction for the screen printing team with regards to printing, dryers, maintenance, development, and production so that products are delivered on time and to a high-quality standard.
  • Communication needs to be clear or give information in the right way to the team so they can understand the topic.
  • Needs to join the meeting assigned by the manager based on the topic that requires them to join.
  • Work closely with the design, printing, and dye sublimation manager to operate and run jobs to the specs given on the work ticket.
  • Work closely with the cutting team on updates between cut pieces receiving and sending semi-finished goods.
  • Work with production scheduling to ensure timely delivery of products by following job orders from the manager.
  • Leading the team member to deliver products on time or giving priority to which products need to run first.
  • Understanding all machines related to the screen-printing process is necessary to make sure all operators are doing the right things while operating machines.
  • Also do data entry, production report, waste report, machine breakdown report, inventory report, and other admin reports related to screen-printing on data up to date.
  • Understanding how to use systems for recording or data input based on company use, like ERP, BCC, or other devices that the company is using.
  • Report and check the stock safety level of PPE, materials, equipment, chemicals, and everything else that relates to screen printing.
  • Provide ongoing suggestions regarding production workflow, scheduling, and productivity to the manager or leader to achieve the goal in the right way.
  • Set up and operate a screen-printing press to customize which process needs to take place, saving material, people, and timing.
  • Assist in the training of new screen-printing department personnel and coordinate training for team members within the department.
  • Participate in training classes and actively seek professional development.
  • I need to help out in other areas when needed and when time allows.

what we ask

  • High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent experience.
  • Need to have experience supervising others in a production environment.
  • Have experience relating to screen-printing with the whole process from start to finish in the right way.
  • Understanding Khmer langue very well on reading and writing, I need to understand basic English-related work notes.
  • Understand how to use computer skills, e-mail, and Microsoft properly.
  • A person who can communicate well can coach and supervise teammates under their supervisor, as well as handle difficult conversations and situations and receive feedback from other associates in their duties.
  • A person who can be organized and focused on the details that matter.
  • A person who enjoys change and trying new things.
  • A good eye for color detail is not afraid of getting dirty from working with colors every day.
  • Able to identify opportunities to improve the processes to support the department in a good way.
  • Good attitude and responsibility for what they have taken on for the tasks.
  • Honestly and flexible.
  • Can work flexible hours based on company requests.
