Job Summary

As an Assistant Merchandiser, you will play a pivotal role in professionalizing our Product Development & Engineering Department. You will be a part of our in-house Product Development & Engineering team, collaborating with different departments to ensure accurate information coordination.

what you will be doing

Information Coordination

  • Provide correct information to the Graphic Designer to make and update Tech Pack.
  • Manage the sample folder to keep the document clear and updated.
  • Keep projects on track and update the Product Development & Engineering Manager promptly.
  • Print out documents, check details, and pass them to production.
  • Coordinate with the Planning team to prepare a new product introduction meeting.
  • Other tasks assigned by the Manager.

Material Coordination

  • Manage the stock of raw materials for product development.
  • Assure material descriptions are updated and well organized.
  • Coordinate with the Sourcing team to collect raw material information promptly.
  • Arrange materials in the sample room.
  • Assures acquisition of raw materials on time.
  • Assist in developing a material library.

Sample Coordination

  • Independently manage sample requests and deliver the result within a set time frame.
  • Coordinate with the Sample team to deliver correct samples promptly.
  • Control sample quality and check with the Product Development & Engineering Manager when necessary.
  • Ensures timely delivery of samples and keeps clear records.
  • Manage couriers and packages.

  • Good English speaking, reading, and writing.
  • Good at Microsoft Office; Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Willingness to take responsibility and act accordingly.
  • Cultural sensitivity.
  • Willingness to be part of the team and make a continuous effort for improvement.
  • Knowledge of in Design & Illustrator is a plus.
