In mid-June of this year, we visited OutDoor by ISPO in Munich, Germany, to discover the latest innovations and trends in the industry and connect with outdoor brands. It was an inspiring event. Various brands were exhibited, and there were several workshops and presentations on different topics.
Supply Chain Transparency and Regenerative Value Creation
We are excited about the solid focus on sustainability, from material innovations to digital applications that can help increase the fashion supply chain’s sustainability.
Transparency and traceability in the supply chain, especially the translation and education of this to consumers, are significant developments. More transparent and traceable supply chains can help consumers make more environmentally conscious purchase decisions.
Another important development is Regenerative Value Creation — which integrates economic and business success with its regenerative impact on people and the planet. Companies can not only minimize the harm but also leave a positive impact by becoming a part of the solution.
Partnerships as the Key
The industry needs to change. Together we have the knowledge and tools to achieve this. Partnerships and closer collaborations in the value chain are critical. We are hopeful after seeing so many different parties in the value chain address these issues at OutDoor by ISPO.
