Job Summary

The Quality Controller is responsible for verifying, measuring, and inspecting all products used and produced throughout the workflow—from suppliers to internal processing. This ensures that bags and garments meet the required standards and follow all instruction guidelines. The Quality Controller will report all quality-related information to the Quality Assurance Supervisor.

What you will be doing

  • Randomly check the processing of each production line.
  • Ensure quality control is applied to all stages of the production line.
  • Verify requirements using QC methods: SIP and PPIP.
  • Analyze issues on each line with the Line Supervisor and QC Supervisor; identify root causes and take preventive action for the top 3 issues detected.
  • Write inspection reports.
  • Cutting Line
    • Ensure the correct fabric is used and that cuts are made with good fabric quality.
    • Perform marker inspections to confirm the marker size matches the pattern.
  • Assembly Line
    • Verify that sewing instructions are followed as per the sample.
    • Ensure products are free from dirt and stains, and that stitching (loose, tight, broken) meets quality and standard requirements.
  • Printing Section
  • Check the correct frame, ink, and cut panel before printing.
  • Ensure logos match the sample and meet quality standards.
  • Packing and End Line
  • Conduct random checks according to QAL2.5 Level II.
  • Confirm product size, label, cord, thread, and stitching match the sample and drawing.
